Good Samaritan Fund

Milden’s Good Samaritan Fund helps us meet the basic needs of friends and members of Milden Presbyterian Church. This fund is separate from the budget and exists only because of the generosity of those more fortunate. Supporting this fund through your donations is a wonderful way to help those who need help in an anonymous way. Should you wish to make a contribution to the “Good Sam” fund simply make out a check (payable to MIlden Presbyterian Church and annotated for the Good Samaritan Fund) for whatever amount you heart calls on you to give and either place it in the collection plate or mail it to: Treasurer, Milden Presbyterian Church, PO Box 31, Sharps, VA 22548

Healthy Harvest Food Bank

Hunger is all too common in every community and the members and friends of Milden Presbyterian Church help alleviate the pangs by their continued support of the Food Pantry in conjunction with Farnham Baptist Church and the Richmond County Social Services. These services are associated with the Healthy Harvest Food Bank and contribute canned and packaged food on a monthly basis. Donations of canned and packaged foods are accepted the first Sunday of every month in the Fellowship Hall. Various members volunteer their time and support to help pack and distribute food at Farnham Baptist Church every 2nd Tuesday at 11:00 am. If you would like to help, simply show up. 100% of the funds donated by the 5 cents per meal donation are donated to this local effort. If you would like to contribute needed financial support, make a check payable to Milden Presbyterian Church, note for the Food Bank and mail it to Treasurer, Milden Presbyterian Church, PO Box 31, Sharps, VA 22548.
